Avant-garde pop group Animal Collective make a rare stop-off in Manchester this week, playing The Warehouse Project’s Victoria Warehouse on Thursday 8 November. The quartet, based in New York, Washington DC and Lisbon, are touring Centipede Hz, their tenth studio album in a career spanning twelve years. While the record has receive mixed reviews, the Animal Collective live spectacle should not be missed – often featuring hypnotic lighting and levels of euphoria close to a full-blown rave. So it’s apt that The Warehouse Project are hosting this outing – their first here in almost four years. Support comes from Brooklyn psychedelic two-piece Prince Rama.
