Rogue – Manchester’s biggest artists’ studios provider – has moved to a new venue, and to celebrate, there’s a long weekend of events planned for early October. The organisation was formerly based behind Piccadilly Station and has moved to a Grade II Listed former school in Openshaw. The grand relaunch event begins on Friday (5 Oct) with a special programme of performances, by the likes of Owl Project, Jane Chavez-Dawson, Noise Orchestra, Nicola Smith, and many others. On Saturday and Sunday, it is the launch of Manifesto, the inaugural exhibition at the new Rogue, which features new and recent work by the organisation’s many studio holders. The exhibition continues until late December, and is viewable every weekday by appointment.

Fri 5 Oct – Sun 7 Oct, Rogue Artists’ Studios, 4 Barrass Street, Higher Openshaw, Manchester, M11 1PU, 6-9pm (Fri), noon-5pm (Sat/Sun), FREE, www.rastudios.co.uk
