Partisan Collective has revealed plans to move to Salford arts hub Islington Mill. This creative-led space was devised as an area for artists, community-led DIY projects and cultural initiatives and has spent the past few years operating from a building on Cheetham Hill Road in Manchester city centre. The news of their relocation to Salford comes hot off the heels of September’s update that Islington Mill was awarded £7million in order to further develop an artist-led community.

“We are really excited about the opportunity to grow as an organisation alongside Islington Mill and look forward to working with them to bring some fantastic events and projects to our members and to Salford,” say the Partisan Collective team. “We are optimistic that this move will help Partisan become more sustainably run and better placed to reflect the needs and ambitions of our staff, volunteers and members.”

With both venues sharing the same interests and common values, Partisan is keen to explore new collaborations with their new Salford neighbours.
