Art & science collide in Jodrell Bank’s new Cosmic Titans exhibition

Jodrell Bank delves into some of the universe’s biggest mysteries with a brand-new exhibition launching later this spring.

Cosmic Titans interweaves quantum science, which examines matter and energy at a subatomic level, with artistic expression across sculptures and photography.

In collaboration with The University of Nottingham, each exhibiting artist has spent time working with world-leading scientists observing laboratory research in areas such as gravitational waves, black holes, dark matter, and the early universe.

The resulting artwork invites visitors to transcend our limited perception and envision realities that, while invisible to the eyes, bring us closer to understanding the intricacies of the cosmos.

The Cosmic Titans exhibition is on tour at Jodrell Bank from Fri 1 May – Sun 20 Sep as part of the venue’s Curious Universe series, which explores the wonders of quantum science.
