Rogue’s annual Open Studios event returns at the end of the month as it opens its doors for an access all areas exhibition of the city’s emerging creative minds. Spread across three floors of the Crusader Mill, the event will combine the work of 88 of its resident artists – which include the likes of Lindsey Bull (Emerald, 2013, pictured) Owl Project and Naomi Kashiwagi –  spanning drawing, painting and photography to film, video and installation to interactive art and performance. Alongside the three main floors, there will also be special exhibitions in The Project Space and Malgras|Naudet gallery including a graduate exhibition and artists tasked with creating new work in a created pressurised environment. Opening on Friday evening with a preview event, the studios will then be open for the rest of the weekend with plenty of time to view the work of some of Manchester’s most prolific artists in the space it was created.
