A clubnight in a curry restaurant. Yes, you read that right. A club night. In a curry house. Famed for releasing all kinds of forgotten oddities and exotic sounds, B-Music/Twisted Nerve records present a showcase of their favourite tunes with resident label DJs on rotation at West Didsbury’s critically acclaimed Gurkha Grill. As if that wasn’t enough, we’ve also heard that there will be a live PA from MC Raj, the rapping owner of the establishment. One step too far? Frankly this all sounds too weird to miss out on. The format should actually fit in well with the slightly surreal sounds the label’s famous for. Entry is free and there will also be free samples of home-cooked food on offer plus beers from around the world. See you down the front for a boogie and an onion bhaji.
