Manchester literature mainstay Bad Language is celebrating its third birthday tonight (Wed 27 Nov). One of the city’s longest-running spoken word and poetry nights, the free monthly event will be celebrating with the help of poets Jo Bell (pictured) and Jackie Hagan, award-winning short story writers Fat Roland, Dave Hartley and Trisha Starbrook, and spoken word event host Abi Faro. Previous Bad Language headliners include Emma Jane Unsworth, Rodge Glass, Jenn Ashworth and Stuart Maconie. Head down to the Castle on Oldham Street to celebrate one of Manchester’s friendliest and most open-minded lit event.
