Bad Language are heading out of Manchester and over to Pendleton to join forces with Salford Libraries for a very special event as part of BBC Civilisations Festival. Taking the theme of building and destroying, three specially commissioned writers will be telling tales through the wide lens of history. Michael Conley, Lenni Sanders (pictured), and Ian Humphries have a host of awards and praise behind them and will be using the ideas and themes of past civilisations to craft pieces that highlight how civilisations have shaped modern day society.
