New ballet for art lovers screened in Exchange Square

On Monday evening BP Big Screen will host a screening of the Cultural Olympiad-commissioned ballet Metamorphosis Titian 2012 in Exchange Square. This melting pot project brings together some of the country’s most exciting contemporary artists, dancers and choreographers, to produce a glimmering feast of culture in response to the display of three of the Renaissance artist Titian’s works in the National Gallery. There’s a lot of highbrow source material to digest, but for dance fans (or those simply curious), this Royal Ballet production is a stand-out event in the London 2012 programme, and this is your chance see it, albeit televised, for free. Who knows, maybe it won’t even rain.
