One of the city’s best and most historic music venues, Band on the Wall, has just announced that they will have secured £1.65million Capital funding from Arts Council England. The funding represents a huge milestone for the Swan Street venue as it looks to expand the venue and bring the derelict Cocozza Building at the rear of BOTW back to life which will allow them a greater provision for music performance as well as their great education and community projects. A long time favourite of Manchester Wire we look forward to even more from Band on the Wall in the future.
