Beer fanatics, hold on to your hats – there’s a new German Bier spot coming to town. Döner Haus, popularly known for their authentic Berlin döner, footlong bratwursts and Kebaps, has revealed plans to launch an exciting new bar in the heart of the Corn Exchange named Garten Bar.

The chic Garten Bar will open its kegs on Monday 19 July, serving up an eclectic selection of Deutsche draught beers, including Germany’s most popular beer on tap, Bitburger – a light yet full-bodied beer with a dry, hoppy taste.

Döner Haus has also curated an extra-special cocktail menu for their new bar, including their own take on an Espresso Martini, and an exciting new addition called the ‘Zucker Floss’ – a concoction of parma violets, candyfloss and Prosecco – which, as you can imagine, is quite the photo op. Even better: Döner Haus’ 2-for-1 cocktail discounts will be extended to the new bar, so you can take full advantage of the cocktail menu. One for each hand, we always say…

The new bar is set to be located in the centre of the Corn Exchange, with plans to open on ‘Freedom Day’ (July 19) – Boris permitting.
