Brimming with boldness, authenticity and wildly imaginative flair, Rowena Gander’s defiant and fiercely insightful solo work Barely Visible explores identity, sexuality and marginalisation on Wed 5 Jun at The Lowry.

Directed by acclaimed Liverpool-based theatre-maker Elinor Randle, Barely Visible offers a devastatingly powerful and wickedly funny journey of personal liberation through Gander’s inventive blend of physical strength, contemporary dance, wry humour and pole techniques, as she navigates a relentless gauntlet of objectification and social stigma to emerge unbowed and empowered as an unapologetically gay woman in the modern world.
