Beer ‘n’ Blues Weekend at Band on the Wall

This month, Band on the Wall will present a mini-festival of Beer ‘n’ Blues. The weekend event will showcase the best blues talent in the UK, which begins on Friday 11 July with Jo Harman, a singer whose music is a cocktail of blues, soul and gospel. Kyla Brox (Sat 12, 1pm) first performed at BotW at the tender age of 12, and now returns as one of the best blues/soul singers of her generation. Award-winning guitarist and singer Chantel McGregor rounds out the weekend (Sat 12, 7.30pm). Fulfilling the ‘beer’ half of the deal is the venue’s bar, which will showcase 20 different tipples from local breweries including Hornbeam, Brightside and First Chop. The Picturehouse Café Bar will also be open before each concert for food and drinks.
