University Salford MA graduates Kate Lucy and Andrew Parker have combined their creative minds under joint moniker ‘Lucy Parker’ for their debut exhibition at Cube. The show, which aims to capture a feeling of ‘human-ness’, sees each artist’s work displayed together to highlight their individual takes on the subject. For Lucy, the approach is a conceptual one, using found objects, projections and short film to reflect the effects of human presence, while Parker’s work is still in progress, creating a sense of dynamism. With this mind, Being Lucy Parker promises an interactive and intriguing viewing, offering a glimpse at an exhibition that continues to evolve throughout its week-long residence.
