Returning to our fair city is the VIP Record Fair, the North of England’s biggest vinyl fest. It takes place in a leisure centre in Davyhulme, which, being the birthplace of Morrissey, is a very rock ‘n’ roll area of Manchester. There will be local, national, and international sellers in attendance, with a massive array of records from just about every era and genre. And because you’re buying in person, you’ll be able see if the records truly are in mint condition. There’s also tonnes of music-related memorabilia on sale, including T-shirts, posters, badges, and framed photographs. With early bird entry, you can get the jump on the other punters and bag a rare find. The venue has free parking and can be easily reached via Junction 9 of the M60. Or it’s just a short walk from Humphrey Park railway station.
