Blossoms announce ‘Five Nights in Manchester’ residency

Blossoms have unveiled plans for a five-night homecoming residency to take place later this year.

Throughout the short run, which will support the band’s upcoming fifth studio record Gary, they’ll be joined by a series of special guests including Neon Waltz, The K’s and The Lottery Winners, with more still to be announced.

Blossoms ‘Five Nights in Manchester’ residency will kick off at Manchester Academy 1 on Tue 19 Nov. They’ll then play O2 Ritz (Wed 20 Nov), Albert Hall (Thu 21 Nov), Victoria Warehouse (Fri 22 Nov) and the O2 Apollo on Sat 23 Nov.

Speaking about the residency in a press release, Blossoms said: “We wanted to do something special with the Manchester shows for this run of gigs. We played each one of these venues on our way up, so it’s great after our Wythenshawe Park show to go and do these venues and remember where everything started for us. It’s a love letter of shows to the city! We can’t wait x.”

Tickets go on general sale Fri 20 Sep 20  at 9.30am, coinciding with the release of the new album.
