Following an immensely successful first three years, Bluedot Festival has quickly put down a unique stamp on the festive circuit, offering a weekend of music, art and technology with a cosmic twist, set against the stunning backdrop of the Jodrell Bank Observatory. With a track record of securing some very impressive names including Brian Eno, Pixies, Jean Michel Jarre, Air, Orbital and Everything Everything, this year looks to be their biggest and best yet. Organisers have lined up another intergalactic array of talent for the weekend of 18 – 21 July, with attendees looking forward to sets from Kraftwerk, New Order, Hot Chip, Jon Hopkins and a host of others. This year’s proceedings nicely coincide with the 50th anniversary of the moon landings on 20 July 1969, with plenty of events celebrating our relationship with the moon to commemorate the milestone. Though early bird tickets are now sold out, prices start at £169 for adult weekend tickets, with five-month payment plans also available. Children’s weekend tickets are also available, priced between £25 – £79. Separate Saturday tickets are now sold out.
