Celebrate/commiserate getting/not getting Kate Bush tickets by hitting Islington Mill this Saturday for a baboushka-sized Bush-a-thon from the minds and lungs of superclubs Bollox and Pop Curious. Announcing her first tour in 35 years has whetted the appetite of many a Bush fan – and Salford’s finest party venue will be hosting a one-off celebration of all things Kate, such as live lip-synching and physical song interpretation from local performance artistes, a painting workshop, Kate Bush karaoke, film and rare TV footage and of course all the best music she has created over the past four decades. There will be smoke machines, there will be wayward-limbed mad dancing and there will be a lot of wailing. Most of all, there will be Bush.
