Bolton’s annual food and drink festival returns this month, once again featuring top celeb chefs, local food traders, cooking demos and more. Taking place in the heart of the town, this year’s TV chef lineup includes Michael Caines, Aldo Zilli, James Martin and The Great British Bake Off’s Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood (pictured), who will all be hosting live cookery demos across the weekend. Elsewhere, Victoria Square will be taken over by local traders selling flavoursome goods plus short residencies from Beer Keller and Manchester’s leading Danish Bar, Kro, while venues and restaurants will be opening their doors for special treats and events. Add street entertainment and the Children’s Food Emporium to the mix and there’s something for everyone to make the most of the last bank holiday weekend of the summer.
