Tickets have just gone on sale for Manchester’s two nearest festivals which just happen to be two of the best in the country. The science-art-music mash up, Bluedot (pictured) returns for a second outing with space-age headliners Orbital, Pixies, Andrew Weatherall and Alt-J. Over in Heaton Park, the ever-expanding Parklife Festival lives up to its reputation as a summer holiday starter for students with Boy Better Know, Frank Ocean, A Tribe Called Quest, Fat Boy slim, Seth Troxler, a homecoming show for The 1975 and much more.
