The sun-drenched sounds of Ibiza are coming to Manchester with the opening of new late-night bar, Lazy Lizard, this December. Huge names in Balearic beats will headline its opening week, starting with Strictly Rhythm star Erick Morillo on launch night (Wed 6 Dec). Supporting Morillo on the decks will be Pete Gooding from Pacha Ibiza’s pre-party hangout Café Mambo, Bora Bora’s Oliver Lang, Steve Valverde from Es Paradis and EMA (featuring Girl on Sax). Gooding will return for Lazy Lizards’ brand new residency Future on Thursday night (7 Dec), with advance tickets from £6. Then Ministry of Sound Presents takes over on Friday (8 Dec) with a special appearance from DJ Kenny Dope (The Bucketheads). The first week reaches a climax on Saturday (9 Dec) when Shudehill shakes to the sounds of new night Soul Heaven. Headliner will be rare groove legend Norman Jay MBE, who arrives in Manchester having hot-footed it from five nights at Ocean Beach in Ibiza. Advance tickets for this brand new club experience are now on sale, and look out for VIP upgrades to add some luxury to your first Lazy Lizard visit.
