The Warehouse Project has revealed 2017’s full line up featuring the world’s leading musicians and DJs. Events include Jamie xx, Bicep, Annie Mac, Marcel Dettmann, The Chemical Brothers, Daniel Avery, Kölsch, Floorplan, Jackmaster, Hannah Wants, Sasha and John Digweed, Craig David, Eats Everything, Solardo, MK, Giggs, Chase & Status and many more. Once again, the clubbing institution reaches beyond its spiritual home on Store Street with specially curated events across other Manchester venues such as Albert Hall for shows from the likes of Thundercat and Gordon City. Jamie xx & Friends – All Day Long
The biggest party of the autumn comes courtesy of Jamie xx & Friends (Sat 11 Nov, 2pm, £35, www.thewarehouseproject.com). This huge daytime show starts at 2pm will names released shortly although details are being kept under wraps, it’s worth snapping up a ticket early. A hugely acclaimed producer in his own right Jamie xx is also part of The xx and – here’s a fact for you – he also created the soundtrack for Manchester International Festival 2015’s contemporary dance performance, Tree Of Codes.
Annie Mac Presents at Store Street ft. Tiga, J Hus & more
BBC Radio 1’s DJ Annie Mac is a regular at the Warehouse Project and this year, she’s back curating a whole weekend of action from the likes of Tiga, My Nu Leng, Ross From Friends and Dusky. Annie Mac Presents (Fri 6 – Sat 7 Oct, last entry 10.30pm, £35, www.thewarehouseproject.com) also features Stormzy collaborator J Hus.
Feel My Bicep with Bicep (live), Carl Craig, Moodymann, Rødhåd, Kyle Hall, T&P (Tim Sweeney & Lauer) & more
Dance music pioneers Bicep perform a live set as part of a headline show on Saturday 18 November (8pm, tickets £18, www.thewarehouseproject.com) with support from tastemakers including Carl Craig, Moodymann, Rødhåd, Kyle Hall, Kink (live), Avalon Emerson, T&P (Tim Sweeney & Lauer), Jane Fitz, WHP residents Krysko and Greg Lord and a whole lot more.
Dekmantel presents Marcel Dettmann, Robert Hood, Fatima Yamaha, Call Super & more
Amsterdam’s award-winning Dekmantel Festival crew present a line up every bit as exciting and innovative as the celebrated event in the Netherlands’. Marcel Dettmann takes pole position alongside the leading lights in techno and house music including Robert Hood, Fatima Yamaha, Palms Trax, Tom Trago (live) Call Super and more. The Chemical Brothers, Daniel Avery, Andrew Weatherall & more
Kick off December watching the brothers work it out as The Chemical Brothers bring a devastating DJ set to the Warehouse Project (Sat 9 Dec, 9.30pm, £35, www.thewarehouseproject.com). Others on the bill include the inimitable Daniel Avery, junglism from Special Request and Andrew Weatherall and Sean Johnston’s celebrated leftfield project, A Love From Outer Space (“never knowingly exceeding 122bpm”). Support comes from Manchester’s James Holroyd and Krysko.
