Ambient jazz producer Tenderlonious has announced a show at Band on the Wall this June as a chance to see the flautist and saxophonist live before the summer’s festivals. Affiliations with Brownswood, Ninja Tune and Yoruba Records have helped to shape the 22a Music label boss’s musical niche, who has flaunted his considerable ear for a tune with his own releases, Bob’s Riddim and the On Flute EP, as well as providing a platform for his peers, including Mo Kolours and Henry Wu.

Thu 14 Jun, Soup Kitchen, 31-33 Spear Street, Northern Quarter, Manchester, M1 1DF, Tel: 0161 834 1786, 8pm, £9-£11, www.bandonthewall.org
