An evening with the voice of wrestling, Jim Ross at Comedy Store

There can be few boys born from the 80s onwards who didn’t go through a wrestling phase. Most even went through two: the first involving a plastic wrestling ring and figurines being knocked together; the second involving secondary school debates about whether the entire thing was real or not. If there is one thing that connects each individual’s experience of WWF (or WWE as it is know these days), it’s the voice of Jim Ross, the sport/entertainment’s key commentator. For the first time, the man himself comes to the UK for a tour of talks and questions and answer sessions, stopping by Manchester for one magical night. Listen, as he regales the audience with stories from his 20+ years in the game; Be shocked, as he reveals locker room secrets about beefcakes that you’ve not thought about since secondary school; Discover, if it is actually real or not.
