Art Brut + FTKOSQ at Academy

Ten years of Anglo-Germanic relations have led Art Brut to release a ‘best of’ compilation of their hits. Some may think this is terribly premature – but they’ve at least filled it with some killer kraut indie from their decade of making music together. Also offering some new music, rare B-side tracks and live performances, this is a band using the ‘best of’ as a stopping off point as they continue performing to their legions of fans across eastern and western Europe. In support in Manchester are local band From The Kites of San Quentin who seamlessly combine human and machine noises on their sonic adventure across the musicscape. Make sure you get there early to check these guys out.
