Cracking Good Food will be getting their bake on in Manchester this summer with a series of hands-on artisan bread making classes, where you can try your hand at organic loaves, focaccia, rye bread, garlic naans and the perfect pizza base. Beginning in Prestwich in June, the first class will take place at Prestwich Arts College, which is currently having allotments built as part of the town’s plans to become sustainable – making it the ideal spot for the those interested in ethical eating. The baking then continues in Flixton for a series of classes running through to November. Or if you don’t have time for a full-day bake-a-thon, Cracking Good Food’s will also offer its Breaking Bread half-day courses at Chorlton High School (Sat 14 Jun, Sat 13 Sep, Sat 11 Oct, Sat 22 Nov), with all ingredients bought locally from independent Chorlton shops.
