US hip hop artist and multi-platform spokesperson B Dolan is scheduled to bring his politicised verses to the Deaf Institute this September. The outspoken campaigner and activist will be touring on the back of his new album, Kill The Wolf – his first studio LP for five years, which features guest vocals by the likes of Aesop Rock, Buck 65 and David Lamb. His aggressive delivery, developed over years performing as a slam poet, couples with music from the rock end of rap production – so expect a muscular sound to fill the venue, carved into your ears by a live backing band of guitars and upright bass as well as analogue synth and violins.
Wed 16 Sep, The Deaf Institute, 135 Grosvenor Street, M1 7HE. Tel: 0161 276 9350, 7.30pm, £10, www.seetickets.com
