Great Scott! Booking is now open for the brand new stage adaptation of cinema classic Back To The Future, which will set its time circuits for February 2020 for a limited 12 week run at Manchester Opera House before heading to London’s West End. This new theatre take on Doc Brown and Marty McFly’s troubles with time has the blessing of franchise Director Robert Zemeckis and has enlisted the help of original series co-writer and Producer Bob Gale who has penned a new book to coincide with the show’s Manchester debut. Gale’s input is accompanied by Grammy award winning songwriter Glen Ballard and master movie composer Alan Silvestri (who scored Director Robert Zemeckis’ trilogy), who have provided new music and lyrics for the show. Die hard fans of the series will be pleased to know that classic tracks The Power of Love and Johnny B. Goode will make an appearance as 2020’s Marty AKA actor Olly Dobson joins Dr Emmet Brown, played by Tony Award winner Roger Bart, and an iconic DeLorean on a journey to return home to 1985. Heavy Stuff!
