While this rollercoaster year saw the swift cancellation of the Manchester Christmas Markets, festive fans will be pleased to hear that the city’s Bar Hüttes will be returning for 2020, bringing a COVID-safe seasonal experience to Deansgate’s Great Northern Square. Available to book now for a £50 deposit which guarantees you a one hour, forty five minute session in a rustic alpine pod, once inside visitors will be able to enjoy Christmas karaoke, oven-baked pizzas and a selection of festive cocktails – including a complimentary Advocaat/eggnog Bombardino which comes free with each booking.

24 huts are available to book – and in order to ensure this year’s fun is a safe and socially distanced, all food and drink must be placed via the new Bar Hütte app and will be delivered to your pod by your own personal waiter. The Bar Hütte experience isn’t just limited to work do’s or festive bar crawls either – this year’s ski-resort-themed takeover features a brand new family offering, with kids activities, a giant, real Christmas tree on-site and a bookable Special Santa package which boasts hot chocolates, colouring-in books and the chance to get your photo taken with Santa Claus himself. The 2020 Bar Hütte experience is due to open on Thursday 12 November – follow the link below to book your hut.
