Since tickets to their first live shows in years went in a matter of seconds it’s worth acting fast to get tickets for this (un)official Flight of the Conchords club night at The Deaf Institute. The night doubles as a celebration of New Zealand’s fourth most popular folk parody duo (with some of the videos playing throughout the night) and the music that inspired their epic tunes from the I’m Not Crying DJs (Dutch Uncles). The last time Deaf held such an event it sold out too. So grab your 1987 DJ20 Casio Electric Guitar (set to mandolin) and don’t be a dick on the dancefloor.

Fri 23 Mar, Deaf Institute, 135 Grosvenor Street, Manchester, M1 7HE. Tel: 0161 276 9350 11pm-3am, £3-10 advance (discount on the door for New Zealand passport holders) www.thedeafinstitute.co.uk
