Communion brings its inaugural New Faces tour to Manchester show casing the best of new music around the UK. Sharing the limelight will be four of this year’s most hotly tipped artists: Luke Sital-Singh, Eliza and the Bear, Farewell JR and Annie Eve. Luke’s impassioned songwriting earned him a place on BBC’s Sound of 2014 longlist, while Annie Eve’s alternative folk has found her supporting the likes of Daughter and Matt Corby. Similarly, Nick Rayner’s latest venture Farewell JR provides an enticing orchestral soundscape, while Eliza and the Bear’s jaunty indie-rock injects a bit of extra energy into the line-up. All acts to keep an eye on in the coming months, Communion have also teamed up with XFM to release the New Faces EP, featuring a track by each artist. Or better still, get your tickets for the tour from Communion’s site and you will receive the EP for free.
