Craig Charles brings his famous Funk & Soul Club back to Band on the Wall later this month, and given that it’s the final one of the year, he’ll be signing off for 2022 in typically spectacular fashion.
Now in its 20th year, the Red Dwarf star’s monthly party has become the stuff of legend in Manchester, and a staple in the Band on the Wall calendar.
Dipping into his unparalleled knowledge of the genre, Craig spins everything from huge funk bangers to obscure hidden gems that’ll have you glued to the dancefloor until the early hours.
Joining him this time out will be Sam Redmore, a newcomer to the impressive Jalapeno Records roster already touted for big things by Craig himself, along with glowing reviews from Quantic, Nightmares on Wax and Danny Krivit.
Summarising his new record, Sam explained that it’s “music for dancefloors inspired by music from all over”, which is plenty enough to draw us in.
