Sundays are usually reserved for part-hangover, part-agonising dread for the imminent beginning of the working week, again. The Drunken Butcher has other ideas though. Having already hosted a string of pork-based supper clubs that might hold the crown in the North West, Iain’s next rendez-vous, Sunday Bloody Sunday, boasts an amalgamation of dinner club, demonstrations, cocktails and wine. Ease yourself in with a bacon sandwich while catching up with the Sunday papers; washed down with your own handmade Bloody Marys (Tom Higham will be lending a hand) and then a Martini Masterclass. A number of demonstrations will follow, including a proper roast dinner and a two hour Coq au Vin, complete with matched wine. The D. Butcher will send you off with a belly full of Old Fashioneds; providing an apt night cap for meat-themed dreams. Hurry, other events are already sold out!
