Perrier-nominated comedian Daniel Kitson returns to the Royal Exchange this May with ‘something like a stand-up show’. The regular RX performer – last in town with It’s Always Right Now Until It’s Later last June – will make a one-off appearance with his new show, which is one of his three new productions for 2013. As well as After the Beginning. Before the End – an hour-long stand-up show – Kitson has promised fans: ‘There will almost certainly be new shows opening in Manchester and New York in the second half of the year’. With the comedian and storyteller unlikely to be playing Edinburgh Fringe this year, tickets for this Royal Exchange date are likely to be snapped up within hours.

This show sold out in minutes, but Kitson has just been announced as a headliner for Hebden Bridge Arts Festival, playing the Picture House on Wednesday 26 June.
