Daughter at The Ritz

Having only signed to label 4AD last year, rising London trio Daughter have swiftly built up a large following, no doubt transfixed by the moody, haunting folk melodies of debut album If You Leave. This was only excelled further with a dreamy, stripped-back cover of Daft Punk’s Get Lucky in the Radio 1 Live Lounge last month that had the Internet swooning. Following a summer full of festival slots, Daughter continue their success in October with an 11-date UK tour, including a stopover at The Ritz. Led by Elena Tonra’s desolate tales, expect a humble yet ambient performance that will no doubt prove how they are slowly charming their way to the big time.
