Dawes have announced a show at Manchester’s RNCM Concert Hall as one of only three dates on their UK tour. Well received by critics from Rolling Stone to NPR, theirs is an uplifting brand of folk rock belying the starkness of their fifth album’s title, We’re All Gonna Die. The album was released earlier in 2016 and features guest appearances by genre royalty like Will Oldham (Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy) and Brittany Howard (Alabama Shakes), who lends their voices to the songs’ underlying sentiment of finding the best from difficult situations. The Los Angeles foursome’s Manchester show comes after a busy year of playing festivals and city venues across their homeland.
