Brooklyn four-piece DIIV play their debut Manchester show on Tuesday, showcasing first album Oshin, an atmospheric, swoony wonder. Formerly named Dive after the Nirvana song, DIIV mix 1990s shoegaze, psychedelic and post-rock elements with a fascination with water (seen in songs named Doused and an album title that is their own spelling of the word ocean) to create a gorgeously melodic experience akin to being carried out to sea on a slow tide. A must for Washed Out and Wild Nothing fans.
