Disappearing Dining Club bring the party up north in November as they host their first Manchester dinner. Founded in 2010, the basis of the club is to bring people together to enjoy great food in unusual places – and their first venture to Manchester is no exception. Taking place in Murrays Mills, the Victorian surroundings make for an ideal backdrop for the dinner party, being transformed from scratch – including a kitchen, lighting, furniture and power – for one night only. And then the feast begins: for £46, tickets include a welcome cocktail and a four-course meal, all served family dinner style at a central dining table. Start with cauliflower cheese soup, curried crab or potted duck before a choice of Grey Goose Vodka & Orange Cured Salmon, Gravad Lax Roulade or Potted Brick Lane Smoked Salmon. Next up, enjoy roast leg of lamb or braised lamb shoulder boulangere, before finishing up with a sweet choice of boozy autumn fruits or oat crumble. Full menu here (for vegetarian options or dietary requirements, see here). Further dinner parties will take place at Murrays Mills on Thursday 28 November and Thursday 12 December.
