Mystery Jets have been booked in for a return trip to Dot to Dot Festival, topping a bill crammed with the bands you’ll be hearing in the near future. The tri-city festival has built a reputation on its forward-thinking line-ups, offering a platform to modern music from across the independent spectrum – which means you can get ahead of the game or simply revel in the returning heroes, Mystery Jets, who last headlined the festival during their ascendancy in 2010. This first announcement only reveals a fraction of the diverse sonic waves, but does give you time to get acquainted with the 2016 crop of young hopefuls – including Rat Boy, Lauren Aquilina, Sundara Karma, Little Green Cars, Dancing Years and plenty more. You can keep abreast of the festival’s updates from now until the end of May by searching Twitter for the hashtag #D2DFest.
