Ex AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd heads to Band on the Wall for a solo show this September. His unrelenting playing style can be heard of 15 AC/DC albums and he was elevated with the band into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003. Since then, the Aussie  wizard has assembled a ferocious live cohort to tour his solo album, Head Job, carrying that same swagger familiar to millions who’ve seen his performances with AC/DC. Support on the night comes from Warrington’s rollicking rock and rollers, Slydigs. To be in with a chance of winning two tickets, simply sign up to our mailing list in the top right hand corner of our homepage, and email competitions [at] manchesterwire [dot] co [dot] uk with ‘Phil Rudd competition’ in the subject line plus your name, age and Twitter handle. Over 18s only. Competition closes at midnight on Tuesday 19 September 2017 and the winner will be informed by Twitter and email the following day. This event has now been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.
