East Coasters Main Source celebrate 25 years since the release of their perennial golden age LP, Breaking Atoms. Epitomising the use of jazz and soul samples in an age before the sampling clampdown changed the face of hip-hop, the album introduced us to legendary rapper and producer Large Professor (who went on to produce for Busta Rhymes, A Tribe Called Quest and many more) and saw Nas make his recorded debut on the track Live At The Barbeque. Large Pro, Sir Scratch and K-Cut haven’t toured for 20 years and are thirsty to return to the stage: expect fire.
