Secret venues are all the rage right now and Manchester’s all-embracing dance party, Homoelectric, is joining in this Halloween with a rave in a yet-to-be-announced location. The club started in the late 1990s with a mission to provide an alternative to the increasing commercialism of Canal Street and the gay scene. Over the years, it’s become a key date for lovers of quality house, soul and disco, with appearances from acts like Robyn and Azari & III. The venue and mystery guests will be announced on Thursday 31 October.
UPDATE: HomoElectric have revealed that the secret venue is Antwerp Mansion in Rusholme.
