Set to be the crescendo of Hanging Ditch’s eventful calendar year, this annual wine fair combines that most civilised of pairings: wine and classical music. Located close to the Hanging Ditch HQ at Manchester Cathedral (pictured), November’s wine fair offers a worldly flavour of old favourites from Australia and New Zealand, as well as offerings from the more obscure corners of the wine cannon. With all sippings set to soprano Jennifer Coleman and the Leos String Quartet, the wine-based frolics start early at 6.30pm – leaving plenty of time to finely tune your inner wine snob for the night.
