HUEY 54 bills itself as the “soundtrack to late night New York City”, taking inspiration from that city’s historic nightlife scene and promising classic funk, soul and disco tracks from the 70s, 80s and 90s — from Chic to Prince, from Stevie Wonder to Cameo, from Dianna Ross to Donna Summer. For HUEY 54, Morgan also welcomes guest selectors Disco Mums, a long-established Manchester collective of all-female DJs who have soundtracked legendary local parties, such as Homoelectric and Aficionado.
