Following the recent release of second album ‘Starfall’, Dublin-based folk cohort Slow Moving Clouds are to offer an intimate and atmospheric evening at Band On The Wall this October. Combining Irish and Nordic folk with experimental drones and post-punk arrangements, the band have enjoyed great success in recent years. Quickly building on their critically acclaimed 2015 debut ‘Os’, the band are riding high following a recent collaboration with The National’s Bryce Dessner and a performance with revered pianist and composer Ludovico Einaudi at Dublin’s 3Arena. Another recent highlight saw the band score Michael Keegan-Dolan’s five-star production ‘Swan Lake / Loch na hEala’, touring internationally with the band performing live including a night at the Sydney Opera House. Don’t miss this chance to catch their atmospheric and immersive set in the flesh.
