Writer and comedian Jack Rooke brings his critically acclaimed show Good Grief to HOME in May. Looking at how we treat the bereaved and the state of welfare for grieving families, Rooke’s style blends comedy, storytelling and film to navigate the audience through these complex ideas. It has received wide praise and was nominated for Best Show by an Emerging Artist in the Total Theatre Awards in 2015. Good Grief was subsequently commissioned by BBC Comedy for a Radio 4 adaptation, and it was recently announced that Jack will soon have his own three-part documentary series on BBC3 entitled ‘How to Be Male and Happy’, as part of the channel’s season of mental health programming.
