As it stands, we’re still floating in the depths of COVID-19 and we sure are missing live music – but after months of waiting some gigs finally appear to be on the horizon. Artists and those in the industry have been working hard to reschedule and plan future tours and 2021 is looking big. To start with, English singer-songwriter and podcaster Jessie Ware releases her brand new album What’s Your Pleasure? on Friday 26 June – and with it, a headline tour.
The record will be her fourth studio album and five tracks have already been unveiled as singles, including groove-driven Ooh La La earlier this year, and the upbeat dance-able Save A Kiss. This latest track feels particularly relevant in these strange times. “I know I’ve got plenty of kisses I’m saving up for everyone when this is all over” Ware recently explained.
Since bursting onto the music scene in 2012 with her debut record Devotion, the London-born singer has worked tirelessly and this latest offering is two-years in the making. A celebration of club-culture, freedom of imagination and escapism – April 2021 promises to be a big party as the What’s Your Pleasure? Tour kicks off across nine dates up and down the UK. On Sunday 18 April, Jessie will grace the stage at O2 Victoria Warehouse right here in Manchester and tickets are already on sale. Head to Ticketmaster to snatch yours and be sure to check out the new album What’s Your Pleasure? released on all platforms from Friday 26 June. Follow Jessie Ware on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and Spotify.
