The German Krautrock trailblazers faUSt have announced a show at Manchester’s Gorilla to mark the release of their latest album, Fresh Air. Having loosely formed via the late-1960s Hamburg experimental scene, radical journalist Uwe Nettelbeck encouraged them to release a record and the rest is a history laden with driving melodies, avant-garde arrangements and plenty of accolades. The most recent revival has seen two parallel bands ploughing the musical meadow, and it’s Jean-Hervé Péron’s and Werner “Zappi” Diermaier’s incarnation which will harvest its sonic fruits at Gorilla.
