Are you a Francophile? Love watching high quality films? Love brunching, socialising and great conversation? Then head to Cultureplex on Saturday 25 January to take part in their multidisciplinary language event hosted by local French tutor collective, French Toast. They say that the best conversations happen over a meal – so what better way to learn the French language – or brush up on your already existing skills – than by chatting with like-minded French speakers over a bit of brunch? Abilities of all kind are welcome in this relaxed and social get together – so don’t worry if you’re still honing your French language skills, as experienced tutors will be on hand to help guide the conversation and provide tips and advice along the way, allowing you to have fun and let the conversation flow. After brunch and chit-chat, you will then head over to Cultureplex’s Mini Cini boutique cinema and be treated to a screening of French New Wave classic, Jules et Jim. As it’s an adult only event, why not head to the bar afterwards and practice your French speaking skills whilst ordering a cocktail? (not included but highly recommended). Tickets are available now from £25.
