The team behind queer bloc party, Homobloc, have revealed details for their next Manchester event due to return this Autumn.

Taking place at Depot Mayfield on Saturday 6 November, it’s an event for all – ‘Homos, hetros, lesbos, don’t knows and disko asbos.’ Described as a legendary gay utopia where all shades of the LGBT+ flag will be flown, it promises to be a celebration of diversity and inclusion with a manifesto declaring ‘Love is the message’. After a year absence due to the pandemic, founder Luke Unabomber said of the event: “No words can say how excited we are. Finally we’re coming home.”

To mark the announcement, Homobloc have also dropped a powerful launch video featuring Manchester-based performer, Aaron James, soundtracked by Massive Attack’s haunting track, Unfinished Sympathy.

The bumper line-up has finally been announced and it’s packed with amazing artists including Hot Chip (live), Honey Dijon, Derrick Carter, Jayda G and Horse Meat Disco to name but a few!

Presale tickets sold out in record time, and the last (very limited) remaining tickets will go on sale Thursday 22 July at 10am. Be quick! Find out more about Homobloc and Homoelectric including the full line-up at the official website.
